Management William Seibel, Executive Chairman William A. Seibel brings a wealth of entrepreneurial expertise to LogMatrix as Executive Chairman. Seibel continues to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Gumball LLC, a management consulting firm dedicated to helping technology CEOs rapidly scale their businesses. Previously, Seibel was CEO and Chairman of Demantra, a supply chain and marketing analytics software company that he sold to Oracle in 2006. Prior to Demantra, Seibel was Chairman and CEO of the e-business services company ZEFER, the first internet services company to integrate e-business strategy with internet design and delivery. There he oversaw the company's growth to $138 million in revenue during its first 18 months. Prior to founding ZEFER, Seibel was Executive Vice President and a founding partner of Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP) where he launched the company's international operations and led the Americas operating unit to rapid growth and profitability. Before CTP, Seibel was Senior Vice President of Operations for Intersolv (Index Technologies), Vice President of Worldwide Development at Dun & Bradstreet Software, and held executive positions in information technology and supply chain management at Air Products and Chemicals. Seibel also serves on the boards of JJ Wild, Ultimus, Glasshouse, and Plan4Demand. In addition, he serves on a number of charitable boards, including the Boston Public Library, Boston Chamber of Commerce, and Northeastern and Penn State Universities. Seibel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, and completed the “Managing the Information Systems Resource” (MISR) program at the Harvard Business School. Jeff Lavin, CEO Jeff Lavin manages the accounting, finance, HR and IT functions at LogMatrix. In his 30+ years of experience, he has held senior positions in accounting, finance and operations. Most recently Lavin was CFO at Cedar Point Communications, Inc. where he helped turn the startup communications equipment manufacturer into a $65 million enterprise. Prior to that, Lavin was CFO of ACT Manufacturing, where he was instrumental in transforming an electronics supply chain management firm from a $300 million Massachusetts-based company into a $2 billion global competitor. Lavin gained operating experience in the aerospace industry and as a turnaround consultant, and was CFO of a NYSE real estate company. Prior to that, Lavin spent 10 years in Big 4 public accounting. Lavin has a BSBA from Bentley College and is a CPA. Mike Schmitt, CTOMike Schmitt ensures that LogMatrix customers receive the best products, services, and support possible. Schmitt brings to LogMatrix an entrepreneurial background in network management and security, plus extensive prior experience with NerveCenter, the company’s founding product. Before LogMatrix, Schmitt was a founder and Vice President of Network Management Systems at Virtela Communications, a global virtual private network services and solutions provider. He provided the initial vision and leadership at Virtela to define its services and business plan and kindle the company's growth. Prior to Virtela, Schmitt served as the Senior Director of Emerging Technologies at Qwest Communications where he was responsible for investigating new technologies and evaluating their revenue potential for Qwest. Before working at Qwest, Schmitt was the Network Manager of Enhanced Systems at the Sprint Internet Service Center where he developed the entire network management architecture for network operations and proactive monitoring of Internet services and Infrastructure. Schmitt also held a number of additional network support, management, and operations positions, and is a U.S. Navy veteran. Greg Moberg, Director of NerveCenter EngineeringGreg Moberg manages NerveCenter's Development and QA teams within Engineering. He is the architect for the product and has been a key contributor to it since joining the company in 2002. Moberg has been a software developer in the network management field for 20+ years and has been involved in software development and the study thereof for over 25. He has tremendous experience with Object-Oriented analysis, design, and implementation having been involved continuously in Java, C++ and Eiffel application development since 1990. Prior to LogMatrix, Moberg held positions at 3Com, Xyplex and Bytex where for each he was involved in development of that company's network management product lines. Moberg holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the American University in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania.
