What are LogMatrix Collectors?

The Collectors interface with the reporting devices and applications. They collect, normalize, and then route the events to the appropriate analysis servers. Depending on how you configure the Collectors, they will also filter and aggregate. There is no limit to the number of Collectors that can be employed. EventCenter, for real-time analysis, and LogCenter, for full log management, run on separate servers in parallel. This separation provides for maximum scalability.
